FAQ

Common questions

Do I need council approval for a deck?

Many low decks in WA don't need a permit, but raised decks, decks near boundaries and some zones do. We'll check your shire's rules when we quote.

Hardwood or composite?

Hardwood looks and feels like real timber and can be re-oiled. Composite costs more upfront but needs very little upkeep. We'll talk through both on site.

How long does a deck take?

Most standard decks take 3–7 working days once materials arrive, depending on size, height and weather.
